In
lovely May sunshine almost 100
tractors took part in the annual
Wenhaston Old Tractor Run. The charity benefiting
this year is the East
Anglian Air Ambulance. Last year the run raised nearly
£3000 for Diabetes UK.

Tractors
came from all across East Anglia (Kings Lynn to Felixstowe)
and ranged in age from Roger Desborough's Lanz
Bulldog dating from the late 1930's to tractors from the 1970's.
They assembled at Roger Desborough's farm in Wenhaston and
followed a 19 mile route along country lanes through Wenhaston,
Darsham, Westleton, Walberswick and back to Wenhaston. They
stopped for lunch in Westleton, the tractors parked
on the village green and were a source of considerable interest.
In
a change from last year I am making all 180 of my photographs
available! |
