Quality building survey reports of both residential and commercial properties. The practice has particular experience in the assessment of historic buildings including timber framed houses and barn conversions. The principal of the practice also holds an R.I.C.S. (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) Diploma in Building Conservation. The practice has submitted reports on many substantial period properties including; Heveningham Hall, Halesworth; Priory Farm, Hadleigh; Fairfield Hall, Framlingham and Choppins Hill, Coddenham. As an acredited Home Inspector Richard Jellicoe can undertake both Home Condition Reports and Energy Assessments.

Valuations

Valuations are available for probate, purchase, sale, insurance and development, for both leasehold and freehold properties, but we no longer undertake valuations for mortgage purposes.

Indemnity Cover is held in accordance with RICS requirements.

Rent Reviews & Lease Renewals

Richard Jellicoe is well versed in negotiating commercial rentals on both review and at lease renewal. We act for both landlords and tenants on all types of commercial and industrial property.

Our service also includes the preparation of Proofs of Evidence (submissions to arbitrators and independent experts where the agreement of revised rentals cannot be reached.)

Dilapidation and Party Wall Procedures

In recent years we have been increasingly involved in providing independent professional expertise in the field of Dilapidation and Party Wall Procedures.

This element of the business includes providing initial advice, acting as a party wall surveyor and providing reports where required.

Asbestos reports

As an acredited asbestos surveyor, Richard Jellicoe can undertake Type 1,2 and 3 asabestos surveys and reports including sampling and analysis of asbestos containing materials.
