This panorama was created from photographs taken from scaffolding erected to repair the chimney between Roslyn House and Langlands in Wenhaston by Tim Heaps June 2002 with the kind assistance of Mr Andrew Merricks. This panorama was photographed using a 200mm lens and shows the length of the Blyth Valley from Blyford (you can glimpse the Church tower near the lefthand edge of the view) past Blythburgh workhouse which is being converted to flats and on toward Blythburgh. In the far distance you can just make out the tower of Southwold church and the distinctive old Southwold water tower! To view the panorama (this one is not 360 degree!) you will need a java-enabled browser (most recent ones will be fine). The panorama file is quite large (around 1.5Mb) so it will take several minutes to download. When the java applet first displays the panorama it will pan around the view but if you click on one the buttons at the bottom of the viewer and then click on the picture you will be able to control it.
