 Thoroughfair
is held in the Halesworth Thoroughfare every year
("thoroughfare" is an East Anglian name
for the main street of a town - elsewhere in the
country this would be called the "High Street"!)
bringing together first class food, drink and crafts
from all over the region.
The
event draws several thousand visitors every year
and is held to raise money for local good causes.
The 2005 Thoroughfair raised over £1,000 for the Halesworth
Museum and the Halesworth Community Nurses.
