Cinema @ The Cut - THE FIRST MONDAY IN MAY (12A)

Venue: The Cut Arts Centre, Halesworth IP19 8BY link
Director Andrew Rossi, 2016, USA, 90 mins, with Anna Wintour, Andrew Bolton, Rihanna, Karl Lagerfeld. In New York the first Monday in May is very special. It’s when the fashionistas fight to attend The Met Gala - a lavish annual fundraiser organized by Vogue and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. The title of the exhibition at the centre of the event is China: Through the Looking Glass. There’s plenty of stress behind the scenes as the big night approaches. Then it’s pure glamour and glitz as the celebs strut their stuff on the red carpet.
Ticket Details: Admission at door £5, Cinema Member £4
