Hen Reedbeds Open Day
Organised by: Suffolk Wildlife Trust
Venue: Hen Reedbeds, A1095, Halesworth Road, Southwold.
An event organized by the Southwold branch of Suffolk Wildlife Trust. Come and visit this special nature reserve located on the A1095 between the A12 at Henham, and Southwold. Guided walks on the hour. Refreshments available. Some parking is available at the entrance to the reserve. If you need transport to the reserve on the day, a minibus will run on the hour from the Kings Head, High Street, Southwold, via the bus stop in Halesworth Road opposite The Drive, Reydon. The charge for travel on the minibus will be 50p per person each way.
A Special Army Benevolent Fund Steaming of the East Suffolk Light Railway. Featuring viewing of 32mm gauge, 16mm/foot garden railway with approximately twenty steam and battery locomotives on this 70 metre long line.
All collection proceeds for the Suffolk Committee of the Army Benevolent Fund.

Childrens Fun Group, at Southwold Library

Tours of Southwold Lighthouse take place on selected dates between April and October and are organised by Southwold Millennium Foundation under licence from the Corporation of Trinity House. PLEASE NOTE minimum height of 1.1 metres tall to climb the tower. Last tour today is at 3:30pm. NB-Please telephone in advance for group bookings of ten or more people.
