Sounds of Spring - and light breakfast

On selected dates in April and May, with a light breakfast at 9.30am. Spring is a fantastic time to learn birdsong at Minsmere. From booming bitterns and warbling warblers, to the delight of the nightingales's song, our guides will take you on a sound tour you won't forget. Suitable for beginners, these walks end with a light breakfast and hot drink in the cafe. EARLY BOOKING ADVISED to avoid disappointment.

Minsmere : Celebrating 70 Years of Wildlife

Taking place on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th April, 9am-5pm both days. Join us to celebrate Minsmere's 70th anniversary as an RSPB nature reserve. We're launching an exciting new '70 species to spot' challenge, and our guides will be on hand to help get you started. There will be displays of historic photographs and a chance to see our reserve machinery up close.

Classic Vehicle Rally and Country Fayre 2017

Venue: Earsham Hall, near Bungay NR35 2AN
Event organised annually by Bungay Area Lions Club. This year as usual there will be hundreds of classic vehicles on show in the beautiful grounds of Earsham Hall (last year 370). There will also be live music, children's entertainment, a wide variety of stalls, autojumbles and catering outlets. There are 6 categories for judging: Cars, American, Military, Heavy Commercial, Tractors and Motorcycles.
Ticket Details: Entry £5 for adults. Under 16s FREE. Free entry for exhibitors.

Tours of Southwold Lighthouse take place on selected dates between April and October and are organised by Southwold Millennium Foundation under licence from the Corporation of Trinity House. PLEASE NOTE minimum height requirement of 1.1 metres tall to climb the tower. Last tour this session is at 12:30pm. NB-Please telephone in advance for group bookings of ten or more people.
Ticket Details: Adult £4, child £3 (minimum height 1.1 metres). Family Ticket for 2 adults and up to 3 children £12
