Red Deer Rut Safari, at RSPB Minsmere

Taking place daily from Saturday 30 September to Sunday 22 October. Timings are : weekdays at 2:30pm, weekends at 9:00am, 11:30am and 2:30pm. Tour lasts for 1.5 - 2 hours. BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL.

2017 Halesworth Arts Festival - My Family & Other Animals

2017 Halesworth Arts Festival - October 7th - 22nd. Behind the scenes with LEE DURRELL. A FUNDRAISING EVENT FOR THE WORLD LAND TRUST. In conjunction with the World Land Trust, we welcome Gerald Durrell’s wife Lee, who will talk about the Durrell family’s life in Corfu in the 1930’s. She’ll relate how that life led Gerald to write his famous book that has been a best seller since it was published in 1956 and go on to tell us what little boy Gerry did when he grew up.
This fascinating evening will be peppered with anecdotes from the 1980’s, when Gerry and Lee collaborated on more than 50 TV programmes and several books.
