Cinema @ The Cut - REPO MAN (18)

Venue: The Cut Arts Centre, Halesworth IP19 8BY link
Director Alex Cox, 1984, USA, 95 mins, with Harry Dean Stanton, Emilio Estevez, Tracey Walter, Olivia Barash. 92 mins.
As a tribute to actor Harry Dean Stanton who died recently, we decided to screen this excellent cult movie in which he gave such a great performance. At first young punk rocker Otto turns down the opportunity to be a car repossession agent but what is on offer - car chases, drugs and good pay - proves irresistible. It's a satirical attack on Reagan's America, wildly funny, at times surreal, and above all a film not to be missed. Expect bad language.
Ticket Details: Standard £5, Cinema members £4.
