Cinema @ The Cut - BROKEN (15)

Venue: The Cut Arts Centre, Halesworth IP19 8BY link
Director Rufus Norris, 2012, UK, 91 mins, with Eloise Laurence, Tim Roth, Rory Kinnear, Cillian Murphy.
Eleven-year-old Skunk and her dad share a cul-de-sac with two other families. It is the beginning of the summer holidays and, with time on her hands, Skunk observes the interaction between the neighbours, fraught as it is with misunderstandings. The winner of several awards, the film is at one moment hilarious, the next providing edge-of-seat drama. Eloise Laurence’s performance as Skunk is truly wonderful.
Ticket Details: Ticket price - Standard £5.00, Cinema Club members £4.00
