Never been to Minsmere before? Then this is the walk for you! With over 5700 recorded species and a wealth of history and archaeological highlights at Minsmere, there is so much to discover. Our friendly and knowledgeable RSPB guides will take you through the sights and sounds to be enjoyed at this time of year.

Walks generally last 3 - 4 hours and are tailored according to the season and visitor knowledge. Places are limited. so booking is essential. Children must be accompanied at all times.

Set in a northern mining town, against the background of the 1984/’85 miners’ strike, Billy Elliot is the inspirational story of a young boy’s struggle against the odds to make his dream come true. Billy’s journey takes him out of the boxing ring and into a ballet class where he discovers a passion for dance that inspires his family and whole community and changes his life forever.
