RSPB Minsmere:National Nestbox Week-MAKE A NESTBOX

Venue: RSPB Nature Reserve, Minsmere IP17 3BY link
Event taking place Monday 12th - Friday 16th February. Usual reserve entry fee applies plus £5. NO BOOKING REQUIRED.
Take some wood, a hammer and some nails and let's get building! Not only will we be testing your hammering skills but your bird knowledge as well. Build a nestbox to take away with you and give nature a home near you.

Félicie dreams of becoming a ballerina, while Victor wants to use his brainpower to invent things. After busting out, Félicie makes her way to the Paris Opera where she joins a class of highly trained dancers who are auditioning for the lead in a production of "The Nutcracker."

Birdwatching for Beginners, at RSPB Minsmere

Many people have begun birdwatching at Minsmere over the last 70 years. Our RSPB guides will take you through all the steps for bird identification as well as showing you how to use binoculars and which field guides are best for you. They'll then help you to spot some of the reserve's seasonal highlights. No previous experience needed. Don't forget to bring your binoculars or ask at reception about loaning a pair for the day. Walk last about 2.5 hours. BOOKING ESSENTIAL. Children must be accompanied at all times.

Southwold WEA Spring Course: The Golden Age of Television Drama

Venue: Methodist Church Hall, East Green, Southwold IP18 6JN
A course of seven weekly sessions, with tutor David Read, commencing Wednesday 24th January. This course will be an exploration of some seminal productions that established television drama as a new art form. It will enhance learners’ understanding of the development of television drama and the cultural context in which writers and directors were able to develop their techniques.
