Southwold WEA Spring Course: The Golden Age of Television Drama

Venue: Methodist Church Hall, East Green, Southwold IP18 6JN
A course of seven weekly sessions, with tutor David Read, commencing Wednesday 24th January. This course will be an exploration of some seminal productions that established television drama as a new art form. It will enhance learners’ understanding of the development of television drama and the cultural context in which writers and directors were able to develop their techniques.
Come along to the first session free of charge - a 'taster session'.

For those of you who crave for a film with no violence, for something gentle, funny and moving, then this it. Paterson is a bus driver but he's also a poet. He's happily married to lovely guitar playing Laura. He writes in his notebook, listens to the conversations of his passengers, walks his dog. Awarded five stars this is Jim Jarmusch at his very best.
