Built in 1887 and standing 31 metres high Southwold Lighthouse is one of only ten lighthouses which Trinity House open to the public. Tours take place on selected dates March to October inclusive and are organised under licence by Southwold Millennium Foundation. Note that there is a MINIMUM HEIGHT restriction of 1.1 metres tall to climb the tower. Last tour commences 30 minutes before closing time. CLOSED FOR LUNCH 1pm-2pm.

We will meet at Southwold Pier between 11:30am -12noon and start the walk around 12.30, heading to Southwold harbour and back, around 3 miles (approx; 1 hour). We may stop at a pub, or head to the fish & chip shop after our walk. RAFFLE with great prizes. We are kindly asking for just £1 per dog donation for Emergency Dachshund Rescue UK and will be there with a charity box and stickers.
