Never been to Minsmere before? Then this is the walk for you! With over 5700 recorded species and a wealth of history and archaeological highlights at Minsmere, there is so much to discover. Our friendly and knowledgeable RSPB guides will take you through the sights and sounds to be enjoyed at this time of year. Walks generally last 2-3 hours and are tailored according to the season and visitor knowledge. BOOKING ESSENTIAL - All bookings must be made online via Eventbrite. Join Paddle Steamer Waverley from Southwold

Venue: Southwold Pier, North Parade, Southwold IP18 6BN link
Waverley is the last seagoing Paddle Steamer in the world. Owned by a registered charity and magnificently restored, with towering funnels, timber decks, gleaming varnish and brass - see and hear the mighty engines turn the ship's famous paddles. Onboard shop for mementos, treats and gifts. Also a range of eating and drinking options in our Dining Saloon and Caledonian Tea Lounge, plus drinks in the Jeanie Deans Lounge and the Lower Bar with its range of Real Ales and 30 Malt Whiskies.
Travel by coach from Southwold Pier to join PS Waverley at Clacton TO CRUISE ALONG THE EAST COAST, then pass through the Thames Flood Barrier, on to the Thames, with commentary, past Greenwich, the Dome, the interesting waterfront, and Canary Wharf, to culminate in PASSING THROUGH LONDON BRIDGE which will be raised for this ship. Return to Southwold by coach. A great day out.
