Discover our new autumn trail and meet the creatures of the woodland, from giant spider webs to hibernating hedgehogs. Be wise or bewildered as you venture along our secret forest path, solving riddles along the way. Our friendly and knowledgeable RSPB guides will take you through the sights and sounds to be enjoyed at this time of year. Built in 1887 and standing 31 metres high Southwold Lighthouse is one of only ten lighthouses which Trinity House open to the public. Tours take place on selected dates March to October inclusive and are organised under licence by Southwold Millennium Foundation. Note that there is a MINIMUM HEIGHT restriction of 1.1 metres tall to climb the tower. Last tour commences 30 minutes before closing time.
