Harvest Festival Flower Festival

Venue: St. Edmund's Church, Southwold IP18 6JA link
Open daily 10am-4pm EXCEPT during services, September 8th-11th inclusive. Hot and cold drinks plus cakes and biscuits will be available every day. Home-made preserves and handmade gifts on sale. CREAM TEAS 2pm-4pm ON SUNDAY 9th SEPTEMBER ONLY.
The Festival features displays by many local voluntary groups on the theme of the words of the hymn 'All Things Bright and Beautiful'. Also Butterfly trail for children, plus Marine Conservation Society display.
Proceeds to be divided between the church, the church flower fund, and the Marine Conservation Society.

Reydon Village Treasure Hunt

Reydon Christmas Lights Appeal Invites You to Solve the Reydon Village Treasure Hunt. The treasure hunt will take you all round the village of Reydon solving clues to spell out a secret message. Your efforts could be rewarded as FIRST PRIZE is a luxury hamper including a £50 voucher from Sutherland House, Southwold. Plus it's fun for all the family with a tree-sure hunt for the kids with a little treat for each one completed. From 10:30am you can pick up the hunt sheet for £3 from Reydon Village Hall which needs to be back at the Hall by 4:30pm the same day. Homemade food and drink will be available at the Village Hall throughout the day. Reydon Scarecrow Trail is having a well-deserved year off but the Treasure Hunt still brings some end of summer fun. All money raised goes towards the Reydon Christmas Lights.
Ticket Details: Treasure Hunt sheet £3, from Village Hall from 10:30am. Return sheet before 4:30pm.

Tours of Southwold Lighthouse

Venue: Southwold Lighthouse, Stradbroke Road, Southwold IP18 6LW link
Built in 1887 and standing 31 metres high Southwold Lighthouse is one of only ten lighthouses which Trinity House open to the public. Tours take place on selected dates March to October inclusive and are organised under licence by Southwold Millennium Foundation. Note that there is a MINIMUM HEIGHT restriction of 1.1 metres tall to climb the tower. Last tour commences 30 minutes before closing time.
Enquire in advance for tour bookings by schools, special interest groups and group bookings of ten or more people.
Ticket Details: Adult £4, child £3 (minimum height 1.1 metres). Family Ticket for 2 adults and up to 3 children £12
