The Great St. James Book Sale

Birds for beginners on Sunday at RSPB Minsmere

Many people have begun birdwatching at Minsmere over the last 70 years. Our RSPB guides will take you through all the steps for bird identification as well as showing you how to use binoculars and which field guides are best for you. They’ll then help you to spot some the reserve’s seasonal highlights. No previous experience needed. Don’t forget to bring your binoculars or ask at reception about loaning a pair for the day. Tours of Southwold Lighthouse

Organised by: Southwold Millennium Foundation
Venue: Southwold Lighthouse, Stradbroke Road, Southwold IP18 6LW link
Built in 1887 and standing 31 metres high Southwold Lighthouse is one of only ten lighthouses which Trinity House open to the public. Tours take place on selected dates March to October inclusive and are organised under licence by Southwold Millennium Foundation. Note that there is a MINIMUM HEIGHT restriction of 1.1 metres tall to climb the tower. Last tour commences 30 minutes before closing time.
Enquire in advance for tour bookings by schools, special interest groups and group bookings of ten or more people.
Ticket Details: Adult £4, child £3 (minimum height 1.1 metres). Family Ticket for 2 adults and up to 3 children £12

THE ELLIS PROJECT

The Ellis’s move to the countryside for what seems an idyllic life, but it’s soon turned upside down when a slip in time, a few minutes in the past send Alice on a project to prove her own sanity. Did it happen? Alice plagued by a past mental illness struggles to prove her case. What exactly happened that afternoon?
