Halesworth Walking for Health: Led Walk

Halesworth Walking 4 Health, part of OneLife Suffolk, the free healthy lifestyle service for the county are in your area offering free health walks. Our walks are available for those wanting to become more active, meet new people and explore our beautiful county. The health walks are led by trained volunteers and graded from 1 to 5 (1 being suitable for beginners, easy terrain and 5 being more challenging, including stiles and/or a faster pace.) There is no need to book in advance for a health walk, you can just turn up but please arrive 15 minutes ahead of the start time when attending your first walk to register. Today's walk: meet by the recycling area at the Co-Op car park in Halesworth for a 3.5 mile grade 3-4 walk.

Tour of Southwold Lighthouse

Organised by: Southwold Millennium Foundation
Venue: Southwold Lighthouse, Stradbroke Road, Southwold IP18 6LW link
Southwold Lighthouse provides a waymark for vessels navigating the east coast and guides vessels making for Southwold Harbour. On selected dates tours of Southwold Lighthouse are organised by Southwold Millennium Foundation under licence from the Corporation of Trinity House, take approximately 30 minutes, and are on the hour and half hour. To climb the tower there is a minimum height restriction of 1.1 metres tall.
Ticket Details: Adult £4, Child 16 years and under £3, Family of 2 adults + up to 3 children £12. CASH ONLY PLEASE.

Southwold Model Yacht Regattas - Final Regatta

Model yacht sailing has been taking place in Southwold for over 100 years. A tremendously fun and absorbing activity which is very easy to get the hang of. People of all ages and abilities can join in. Anyone is welcome to come and have a go at sailing – we can even lend you a boat for the day and show you what to do. Please note those wanting to turn up and hire a boat should arrive half an hour before the scheduled start of the regatta.
Today, an informal pick-up regatta to round off the season. No entries required, just show up at the pond on the day.

Free Summer Reading Challenge events, at Halesworth Library
