Winter Wildlife Wander at RSPB Minsmere

Come and discover what makes Minsmere such a special place to visit in winter as our guides show you some of our wildlife and historical highlights. We’ll look for ducks, birds of prey and perhaps a few mammals and enjoy a bracing stroll along the beach. Event lasts approx 3 hours.

So, climate change is real - what can WE do about it? The Big Picture - Global challenges and imperatives for us all!
How can we cut our dependence on fossil fuels and also improve our long-term finances? With oil showing signs of starting to run down or get more expensive and climate change having ever greater impacts many more will probably be driving electric cars in just a few years.
Global political and social issues surrounding climate change and sustainable living are inhibiting serious attempts to mitigate it. Our speaker will discuss how we can reconcile our present consumer lifestyle with the urgent need to reduce our impact on our overloaded planet.

National Theatre Live: THE TRAGEDY OF KING RICHARD THE SECOND

This visceral new production about the limits of power will be directed by Joe Hill Gibbins, whose previous plays include Little Revolution at the Almeida and Absolute Hell at the National Theatre.
Richard II, King of England, is irresponsible, foolish and vain. His weak leadership sends his kingdom into disarray and his court into uproar. Seeing no other option but to seize power, the ambitious Bolingbroke challenges the throne and the king’s divine right to rule.
