Classic Car and Fete Day

Venue: Village Hall, Bungay Road, Holton, Halesworth IP19 link
Enthusiasts bring their beloved vehicles, show them at their best, we get to enjoy them, listen to the music, eat burgers from the barbecue, or enjoy a cream tea, ... and new this year pizzas – together with a refreshing drink from the bar – what’s not to love?!
Stallholders will bring interesting items to tempt us, there will be raffles of bottles of spirits, a few reasons to sit in the sun (fingers crossed) and enjoy a relaxing day full of interest.
Ticket Details: Free entry for cars and people - we just request a donation towards the upkeep of the Hall.

Michael Bullen : Art Exhibition at Walberswick

Venue: The Studio, Ferry Road, Walberswick IP18 6TN link
Exhibition dates June 15th — 27th. The Studio at Walberswick is an old wooden fisherman's house down by the harbour, built on stilts to protect it from the highest incoming tides. There is a large village car park just by the Gallery and also a couple of spaces at the Studio itself which can be used whilst at the Exhibition.

Thirteenth Night, at Thorington Theatre

Set one year after the events of Shakespeare’s classic comedy Twelfth Night, this original sequel imagines what happens when Malvolio makes good on his threat and comes back to take his revenge. Part comedy, part revenger’s tragedy and written in authentic Shakespearean verse. Running time: 2 hours 15 minutes, including a 20 minute interval.

Abel and the solo viol – Ibrahim Aziz

Ibrahim explores the music and influence of an eighteenth-century composer, player and concert promoter. A solo recital of 18th century music on bass viol by Trinity College of Music Gold medallist Ibrahim Aziz who specialises in performing baroque, renaissance and contemporary music on the viol da gamba.
