These popular, free, general interest tours are provided thanks to Colin, a local resident. Children are welcome, but they must be accompanied by an adult throughout the tour. If you’d like to join a tour you can just turn up. Please use the hand sanitiser before coming into the church. If you have the NHS Covid App on your phone please scan our QR code which you’ll find on the church door and in the porch. Face coverings are no longer mandatory, but you may wish to continue to wear one to protect yourself and others.
Experience Minsmere at the best time of day as the sun sets above the autumn reedbed. With luck, thousands of starlings will gather in their amazing swirling flocks, or a dozen or so marsh harriers will settle to roost in the reeds. As darkness gathers, we’ll use a bat detector to search for bats and enjoy the eerie sounds of the night. Please bring a torch as it will be dark when these walks finish. NOT recommended for children aged under 8 years.
