From Avocet you can abandon your car and enjoy local off-road walks, via the marshes and along the dykes, to Southwold Harbour, enjoying the wildlife and scenery along the way. Or walk across the Common into the centre of Southwold or Buss Creek to the beaches, pier and sea.

Within easy driving distance are the concert halls at Snape Maltings, the RSPB Reserve at Minsmere and other areas of natural beauty along the Heritage Coastal Belt.

  • Bedroom 3 - double bed, wardrobe and back garden view from window.
  • Bathroom - Bath with Shower over, washbasin and W.C.

  • Short Break rates are based on a minimum of 3 nights. May be negotiable depending on demand and season.
  • Small well behaved dog may be allowed subject to owner's permission for additional £25 per week
  • Bed Linen and towels provided. Guests are welcome to bring their own or additional towels if, due to present pandemic circumstances they wish. All linen and towels are professionally laundered.
  • We aim for holiday rentals with Friday arrival and Friday departure but at current time accepting some Saturdays on case by case basis. Contact us for Christmas, New Year and shorter break enquiries
