Pseudonym Madeline Dando. Martin will talk about his life, his struggle as an un-published author, explain how to self-publish and give his views on creative writing. He has published two highly regarded novels.
“Leaving Her Tears Behind”. This dramatic and captivating story is packed with love, lies, excitement and passion. Written through the eyes of two women, it deals with Sarah’s struggle to adapt to a new life in Norfolk and keep her family together, whilst Maggie, filled with jealousy and hate will do anything she can to destroy her.

Halesworth Walking for Health: Led Walk at HALESWORTH

Halesworth Walking 4 Health, part of OneLife Suffolk, the free healthy lifestyle service for the county are in your area offering free health walks. Our walks are available for those wanting to become more active, meet new people and explore our beautiful county. The health walks are led by trained volunteers and graded from 1 to 5 (1 being suitable for beginners, easy terrain and 5 being more challenging, including stiles and/or a faster pace.) There is no need to book in advance for a health walk, you can just turn up but please arrive 15 minutes ahead of the start time when attending your first walk to register. Todays walk, meet at the Thoroughfare car park, Halesworth for a 2-mile, grade 2 walk.

Find Your Voice : New Choir in Blythburgh

Venue: Village Hall, Blythburgh IP19 9LQ
Come along to an introduction to ‘a cappella’ mixed choir singing (voice only), using rhythm based rock, indie, country rock and folk based gospel, jazz and musical theatre. Develop confidence in singing and using your natural voice. No sight reading or previous experience is required. All songs are taught by ear. The choir is open to adults aged 16+.
