No experience needed, and binoculars available to hire if needed.

Southwold Sausage Dog Walk

Venue: Southwold Harbour, Southwold IP18 6TA IP18 6TA link
Event features music, stalls, raffle etc, finishing with a walk to Southwold Pier. Annual popular Sausage Dog Walk to raise money for the charity ‘Dedicated to Dachshunds with IVDD’, a charity which helps Dachshunds with back problems, lending out strollers and wheels for Dachshunds that are unable to walk due to the awful disease ‘Intervertebral Disc Disease. To date almost £7000 has been raised from walks for dachshund charities.
Ticket Details: Entry by donation, £5 suggested.

Tour of Southwold Lighthouse

Organised by: Southwold Millennium Foundation
Venue: Southwold Lighthouse, Stradbroke Road, Southwold IP18 6LW link
Southwold Lighthouse provides a waymark for vessels navigating the east coast and guides vessels making for Southwold Harbour. On selected dates tours of Southwold Lighthouse are organised by Southwold Millennium Foundation under licence from the Corporation of Trinity House, take approximately 30 minutes, and are on the hour and half hour. To climb the tower there is a minimum height restriction of 1.1 metres tall.
Ticket Details: Adult £4, Child 16 years and under £3, Family of 2 adults + up to 3 children £12. CASH ONLY PLEASE.
