Tour of Southwold Lighthouse

Organised by: Southwold Millennium Foundation
Venue: Southwold Lighthouse, Stradbroke Road, Southwold IP18 6LW link
Southwold Lighthouse provides a waymark for vessels navigating the east coast and guides vessels making for Southwold Harbour. On selected dates tours of Southwold Lighthouse are organised by Southwold Millennium Foundation under licence from the Corporation of Trinity House, take approximately 30 minutes, and are on the hour and half hour. To climb the tower there is a minimum height restriction of 1.1 metres tall.
Ticket Details: Adult £4, Child 16 years and under £3, Family of 2 adults + up to 3 children £12. CASH ONLY PLEASE.

A Jazz Evening In Memory Of Sidi Scott

Venue: St.Peter and St.Paul Church, Wangford NR34 8RW
Performed in memory of Sidi, by Martin Smith (Sidi’s son-in-law) and his jazz band, the Jazz Goats. Tickets including a licensed bar are £10. All funds raised will go towards the Church Restoration Fund.

DANCING ON THE DOORSTEP

An Evening of Poetry with Tom Corbett and Friends. Join Tom Corbett for the launch of his poetry collection, 'Dancing on the Doorstep – Fragments from a Liverpool Childhood' (Gatehouse Press). Tom’s recall of early memories brings to life a Liverpool long gone: a city of industry, abject poverty, community and above all this, the love that helps a family survive. Tom is supported by friends, with the poets Helen Ivory, Martin Figura, Julia Webb and Andrew McDonnell, all reading from their latest collections.
