Halesworth Walking for Health: Led Walk at HALESWORTH

Halesworth Walking 4 Health, part of OneLife Suffolk, the free healthy lifestyle service for the county are in your area offering free health walks. Our walks are available for those wanting to become more active, meet new people and explore our beautiful county. The health walks are led by trained volunteers and graded from 1 to 5 (1 being suitable for beginners, easy terrain and 5 being more challenging, including stiles and/or a faster pace.) There is no need to book in advance for a health walk, you can just turn up but please arrive 15 minutes ahead of the start time when attending your first walk to register. Todays walk, meet at Blyth Road, Halesworth. (Millennium Green end) for a 3-mile, grade 3 walk.

A Fiona FitzGerald Talk : WILLIAM BLAKE AND “REAL ART”

Modern Art is often seen as the preserve of Parisian culture. But Blake pre-empts many of the avant-garde activists in their search for truth. Fiona FitzGerald will explore Blake’s work in the heady context of revolutionary politics. The talk will focus on Blake’s 1809 ‘home-made exhibition’, which is recreated in the current blockbuster on Blake at Tate Britain.
